EWBC 2010 - Vienna - Austria

Last year EWBC was held in Lisbon, and Vinixá was helping the organization and attending the conference as well. It was a unique experience, and we learned a lot about this wonderful tool called blog!

This year the venue is Vienna, Austria, and we are going to attend once again! It will be time to see old friends and to meet some new ones too! We'll be representing the growing number of portuguese wine lovers that write about wine on their blogs.

We are very excited, and as last year we'll bring you all the highlights of this coneference. Stay tunned!

Em 2009 a Vinixá participou e ajudou na organização da EWBC que decorreu em Lisboa. Foi uma experiência única e que nos trouxe mais conhecimento sobre esta ferramenta social tão importante, o blogue.

Voltamos então ao assunto do nosso último post. Se bem se lembram, dissemos então que a interactividade inerente à nova Web 2.0, alterou de forma radical a relação entre utilizadores e as presenças de páginas web. De tal forma que neste momento assistimos a uma escalada de utilização massiva das chamadas Redes Sociais, permitindo que o comum utilizador da Internet consiga "ouvir" e fazer-se "ouvir" por milhares de outros internautas. Esta proliferação de inúmeras bases de contactos leva a que haja uma ligação cada vez mais global a tudo o que se passa à nossa volta! Porque não "aproveitar" esta proliferação para divulgar os nossos produtos?!

Gomariz in USA... almost there!

As we have already informed earlier, Quinta de Gomariz is now preparing to send their first wines to Pennsylvannia and Utah, through our friend and importer Michael Grisley from PR Grisley Co. This has been a very demanding task from both sides of the Atlantic, but one that we are loving to do! Together with the Gomariz team, Vinixá is making all the arrangements to make the wines get to the USA with upmost quality.
We are all very excited about the business, because we all feel that these wines are going to be a huge success. We do want to build Quinta de Gomariz brand in the USA, and we are also planning a trip to help the importer and distributor´s to give everyone the chance to taste the wonderful Vinho Verde now beeing prepared to be shipped!
